Summary:The study aimed at assessing the utilization of Information Communication Technologies in the effective administration of secondary schools in Mitooma district, Uganda.  A cross-sectional survey design was employed. Data was collected using a closed-ended questionnaire developed by Özdemir et al. (2014) and an interview guide.  Statistical Package for Social Scientists software version 23.0 was used to analyze the data. The study revealed a lack of knowledge and skills of ICT, limited electricity supply, poor quality computers, and inadequacy of computer accessories as reasons for the non-utilization of ICT.
