The objective was to reflect and analyze the importance of the poetic text for the aesthetic of nursing knowledge, using as analysis tool the poem On the poetic clay, my reflections on the science care written by the author-nurse, based on the Theory of Complexity. The poem analyzed addresses various dimensions of human complexity necessary for the care of themselves, of others and of the populations who revitalize the inexhaustible aesthetic source and generating health.
