Material and methods: 30 athletes of different qualifications, aged 18 - 23, participated in the study. The following methods were used to solve the research objectives: 16 - R. Kettel personality questionnaire; questionnaire A. Bass - A. Darkey; self-actualizing personality questionnaire (A. Shostrom); questionnaire to assess motivation to achieve the goal (T. Ellers); methods of mathematical statistics. Results: identified personality traits of athletes-fighters of different qualifications and on the basis of them gave practical recommendations to coaches in working with athletes. Conclusions: The conducted researches show that the psychological characteristic of personality of sportsmen-fighters of different qualification differs significantly, and for fruitful work of the coach he needs to take into account these features. |
