History is a fluctuation between stability, change, and an eternal pursuit to evoke reality of the past, and perceive the present of human societies and their struggle to achieve the optimal. The production of knowledge; is identification between the renewal and criticism of what prevails and commitment to the fundamentals of the faith mindedness such as tawhid (monotheism), doctrine and spirit, and the evocation of the world of intellectual and emotional practice. Philosopher and thinker Muhammad Iqbal has a typical approach to this dialectical process of history and the change of epistemological renewal that he called for to rectify Islamic intellectual discourse written in his book "Tajdeed at-Tafkeer ad-Deini fi l islam" "Reconstruction of Religious thought in Islam". |
