Summary:Abstract: The aims of this research and development are to produce a module for the Biotechnology based on Problem-based Learning and containing scientific literacy for higher education that is valid and practical to be used in bioprocess and fermentation topic. The research and development method used in this study is ADDIE model. Ther result of validation test by material experts, media experts and field practitioners were obtained is 97.86%, 98.8%, and 88.17%. The conclusion of this research is that the module developed has met the validity and practicality requirements. Abstrak: Penelitian pengembangan bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul bioteknologi berbasis PBL dan bermuatan literasi sains yang valid dan praktis sehingga dapat digunakan pada matakuliah bioteknologi dengan materi teknologi bioproses dan fermentasi.  Metode penelitian dan pengembangan yang digunakan adalah ADDIE. Hasil uji kelayakan oleh ahli materi, ahli media dan praktisi lapangan secara berurutan diperoleh persentase 97,86%, 98,8%, dan 88,17%. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi syarat kelayakan dan kepraktisan.
