Summary: | Corticosteroid usage in patients with pulmonary pathology is permanently discussed. Occurring ARDS in pregnant women have risen severity of acute respiratory viral infection and influenza. There are no investigations which show efficacy and safety of corticosteroids usage in pregnant with ARDS during acute respiratory viral infection and influenza. According to our data there is tendency to positive influence on lung condition in pregnant women with severe course of acute respiratory viral infection and influenza as well as on maturation of fetus. We recommend to use corticosteroids in medium therapeutic doses in such patients during ICU admission. Special attention should be paid to early diagnosis and treatment of fungal complications, especially aspergillosis. |
