Latar Belakang: Ada banyak factor yang mempengaruhi pasangan suami istri dalam memilih metode kontrasepsi diantaranya efektivitas, keamanan, frekuensi pemakaian dan efek samping, kemauan dan kemampuan untuk melakukan kontrasepsi secara teratur dan benar, biaya, agama dan kultur budaya mengenai kontrasepsi tersebut, Tujuan penelitian: untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang metode kontrasepsi dengan pemakaian kontrasepsi di Puskesmas 23 Ilir Palembang Tahun 2018. Metode penelitian: merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah akseptor kb yang dating berkunjung ke Puskesmas 23 Ilir sebanyak 40 orang yang diambil dengan menggunakan tehnik Accidental Sampling. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 09 Juli sampai dengan 21 Juli 2018. Analisis data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis univariat dan analisis bivariate. Hasil penelitian: Ada hubungan Tingkat Pengetahuan Ibu Tentang Metode Kontrasepsi Dengan Pemakaian Kontrasepsi di Puskesmas 23 Ilir Palembang Tahun 2018 dengan p value 0,034. Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan yang bermakna antara tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang metode kontrasepsi dengan pemakaian kontrasepsi di Puskesmas 23 Ilir Palembang Tahun 2018. Background: There are many factors that influence married couples in choosing contraceptive methods including effectiveness, safety, frequency of use and side effects, willingness and ability to do contraception regularly and correctly, costs, religion and cultural culture regarding contraception. Research objectives: to find out the relationship between the level of knowledge of mothers about contraceptive methods and the use of contraception in the 23 Ilir Palembang Health Center in 2018. The research method: is a quantitative study with a cross sectional approach. The sample in this study was kb acceptors who came to visit the 23 Ilir Puskesmas as many as 40 people who were taken using the technique of accidental sampling. The study was conducted on July 9 until July 21, 2018. Analysis of the data carried out in this study was conducted using univariate analysis and bivariate analysis. Results: There was a relationship between the level of knowledge of mothers about contraceptive methods and the use of contraception in the 23 Ilir Palembang Health Center in 2018 with a p value of 0.034. Conclusion: There is a significant correlation between the level of knowledge of mothers about contraceptive methods and the use of contraception in the 238 Puskesmas Palembang in 2018.
