| Summary: | In this article three current subjects of great interest for education are related: the con-struction of the European Higher Education Area (European Higher Education conver-gence); the technological convergence and the significant changes that are giving rise to Web 2.0, and the teacher training on ICT (Information and Communication Technolo-gies). The constant innovation in teacher training, mainly that specific one on media and ICT, is essential for the "culture of the convergence". It is essential as much for the construc-tion of EHEA, as for the education of participative citizens in the space or cyberspace that they are due to transform. We propose new competences for the "digital re-literacy" of the teachers, for a curricular integration of ICT as resources, contents and learning environments, that contributes to educate for global progress, personal development and social and labor integration. |
