Description
Summary:This paper proposes to analyse the academic knowledge mobilization by russian reformers as a foundation of their acces to the status of political and administrative elite during the period of Russian transition. It proposes to focus on the conditions of the entrance of these former scientists into the State adminstration in the begining of the 1990 and on the differences they have to face between their academic skills and administrative and political skills. Reclaiming a special status of those who possess the knowledge required to elaborate the economic and social policy in the context of market economy implementation and development these reformers adopt a demarcation strategy vis-à-vis those elite fractions who rely on the "purely administrative and political knowledge".
