Summary:Rotavirus infection is manifested, in some cases, not only by damage to the gastrointestinal tract, but also by the involvement of other organs and systems in the pathological process. A clinical case of rotavirus meningitis in a four-year-old girl was confirmed, which was confirmed by the detection of RNA virus by PCR in сerebrospinal fluid, while the virus was detected in the faeces by ELISA.
