In a truly pioneering undertaking, the editor and the contributors from eight different countries open up to the reader the universe of typological diversity across sign languages. In-depth studies of questions and negation in six sign languages constitute the central part of the book, augmented by shorter contributions from another four sign languages, as well as an introductory theoretical section.
