It has been reported that RA displayed various effects such as oxidative stress, scavenging free radicals, and ameliorating inflammation function etc. Type 2 diabetes (T2DM) has been recognized as a low-level inflammatory disease. Abundant studies have indicated RA could significantly reduce the diabetic inflammation. The aim of this review is to highlight advances of RA on T2DM from the perspective of inflammation.</p>
