The purpose of this research are to examine the reason of ruling party using mainstream media as a medium of interaction with citizen and also to investigate of use by ruling party in mainstream media to engage with the youth. The study covers the student at UiTM Merbok Kedah from the faculty of administrative science. This research will give valuable information toward the researcher them self to understand the big picture toward the reason of ruling party using the mainstream media as a medium of interaction with the citizen and engage with the youth. The data collection is from the primary data and also secondary data which refer to the information gathered from sources that already exist. The researchers choose to use a specific type of sampling technique which is proportionate stratified random sampling to get the respondent.
