In 2020, starting from April, many educational institutions have shifted learning to online. Therefore the author uses alternative audio-visual animation video media to support learning, but the impact of learning still needs to be analyzed, therefore the author made a study entitled "Analysis of the Use of Audio Visual Animation Media in Reading and Writing Subjects 1 Student Offering B Class of 2020 State University of Malang". This study aims to determine the results of using media. In this research, the approach used is a qualitative approach. This qualitative research approach method uses observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The research instrument used for data collection in this study consisted of observation guidelines and interview guidelines. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Based on the results of research and data analysis, it can be concluded as follows: the use of audiovisual animation media in learning reading and writing subjects 1 offering B can make students happy, increase motivation, be active and greatly help students to be able to learn independently.
