Summary:Class Action Research aims to improve economic keaktivan students in learning through learning strategies Problem Based Learning. Penelelitian subject is a class X IPS 1 SMA N 1 Slogohimo Wonogiri totaling 30 students. Data collection methods used were observation, interviews, and documentation. To ensure the validity of data used triangulation techniques. Data analysis technique used consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results showed an increase keaktivan students in the learning economy through the application of learning strategies Problem Based Learning. It can be seen from 1) Keaktivan students participated in carrying out the task of learning before action and 66.67% to 83.33% after the action. 2) Students who are involved in solving the problem before action amounted to 33.33% and after the act became 73.33%. 3) The students dare to ask other students or teachers before their actions amounted to 33.33% and after the action to be 70%. 4) Students are trying to find the information needed to solve the problem before action by 26.67% after the act became 80%. 5) Students who carry out group discussions as instructed by the teacher before the action after the act san 66.67% to 90%. From the results of these studies support the hypothesis: "if the learning economy through the application of learning strategies Probel Based Learning is done properly and appropriately, it can improve students' learning keaktivan economy".
