Alternative medium are used MS, Hyponex, Gandasil-D, and Growmore, which each have different nutrient. The purpose of this research was to determine of percentage germination and growth of Anthurium seeds in vitro on alternative medium and different long lighting. The method used in this reasearch is Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with two factors, factor1 is alternative medium foliar fertilizer(M1=Kontrol (MS), M2=Hyponex, M3=Gandasil-D, M4=Growmore) and factor 2 islong lighting(C1=24 hour light, C2=10 hour light 14 hour dark)with 8 treatment. The result of this reasearch has showed thatused of alternative medium foliar fertilizer and long lighting can affect the growth of Anthurium seed in vitro. The highest germination percentage (100%) was observed on all treatment,except in the treatment M1C1, M2C2.The highest on plant height and number of leaves in the treatment M3C1, andthe highest number of root in the treatment M2C1.
