Zusammenfassung

CV. Khans Tour is a travel agency in Surakarta. The booking system in CV. Khans Tour is still conventional. Customers are expected to come directly to the agency. In promoting their services, they use less effective media, so that the information given are not optimum. Many customers do not know the specific purpose and the price of each package offered. To overcome the existing problems, an online information system of travel booking is needed in order to help in expanding promotion and enhancing the company profits. This web-based system is built using PHP and MySQL. The method used is waterfall including requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing and maintenance. Information systems that have been built providing convenience to get information for people who want to know the particular tour package. The result shows that administrator can manage the data package, website management (about us, news, chat) and print ordering. This website is very helpful in promoting the supply of services, it is proved by the results of the questionnaires amounted to 80% stating that the system is beneficial and can help the promotion..
