Summary:Introduction: Pneumonia is one of the infectious diseases in infants. It is one of the acute respiratory infections (ARI) that most likely to cause death in infants. There are many determinants of pneumonia, including nutrition status and clean and healthy living behaviors. Objective: The purposes of this research were to assess correlations between nutritional status, and the clean and healthy living behaviors and pneumonia in children at Primary Health Service of Tawangsari Sukoharjo Research method : This was a cross-sectional research. The subjecs were 44 children aged 6-59 months. Sampling method used consequtive sampling technique. Pneumonia status data were obtained using ARY timer, Chi Square tests were run to asses the correlations. The nutritional status data were measured using anthropometric measurements, and the clean and healthy living behaviors data were obtained through interview using questionnaire. Results There was 27.3% children who had pneumonia. 75% had good nutrition status and had good 63% clean and the healthy living behaviors. The results of fisher's exact test showed pneumonia had relations with nutritional status (p=0,000) and clean and the healthy living behaviors (p=0,000). Conclusions: There were correlations between nutritional status, clean and healthy living behaviors and pneumonia in children at primary health service of Tawangsari, Sukoharjo. Suggestion: It is expected that health professionals improve the health programs, especially on nutrition and healthy household
