Summary:Introduction: According to the result of survey, which was conducted by Ciamis Community Health Center in Sindangrasa Village; 0.76% of all under-five infants had severe malnutrition, 15.56% of all under-five infants had moderate malnutrition, 0.90% of all under-five infants had excessive nutritional condition, and 82.78% of all under-five infants had good nutritional condition. The status of nutrition on under-five infants is an important factor to decrease their mortality rate. Purpose of Research: Examining the correlation between housewives' knowledge and behavior on nutrition awareness and nutrition status of under-five infants in Sindangrasa Village, District of Ciamis, Regency of Ciamis. Research Method: This research is an observational research with "cross sectional" design. The researcher used 169 respondents sample, and the data was collected by using questionnaires, which covered the knowledge and behavior on nutrition awareness. The researcher also used correlation of Pearson product moment to examine the housewives' knowledge and behavior on nutrition awareness and status of nutrition. Result of Research: 52.7% of all housewives respondents had adequate knowledge on nutrition awareness, 60.9% of all housewives respondents had good behavior on nutrition awareness, and 39.1% of all housewives respondents had poor behavior on nutrition awareness. While 3.6% of all under-five infants had severe inadequate body weight, 23.0% of all under-five infants had inadequate body weight, 66.9% of all under-five infants had normal body weight, and 6.5% of all under-five infants had excessive body weight. Conclusion: There was a correlation between housewives' knowledge on nutrition awareness and nutrition status, while there was also a correlation between housewives' behavior on nutrition awareness and nutrition status.
