| Summary: | Interpersonal communication is a relationship between one to another person. Interpersonal communication which occurred in a family relationship, between parents and children is very important, because it can create a harmony family. The kind of famous games on the children are played by using computer and internet connection or familiarly called online games. The children often forget their time when they were playing their favourite online games, then they will be forgetting the other important activities, such as study. The purpose of the reaserch is to know how the parents and 8-10 years children's interpersonal communication on understanding the impact of playing online game toward achivements at the school. The subjects of this research are parents and the 8-10 years children who are playing online games at Y! internet cafe Solo Square. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method. Descriptive research is used to more understanding the information of the subjects. This research obtains results that interpersonal communication is made by parents with conversation orientation and high compliance, communication is done openly, as well as parenting toward the children by let their children playing, but still give the restrictions |
