Summary:Congestion is very disturbing activities of daily activities - day like work, school and shopping. Traffic jams occur because these roads have started not being able to accept or skip the flow of vehicles. The purpose of this study was (1) Knowing the variations in the level of congestion on the roads Jln Ronggowarsito, Jln Col. Sunandar, Jln Dr. Susanto, and South Ring Road Starch by using service level (the level of services) that occurred in District Pati before and after the southern ring road Starch. (2). Determine the factors associated with the level of congestion in the District of Pati. This study uses observation and documentation. The variables examined in this study include: (1) Street, which consists of a Long Way, Wide Roads, Street Name and Street class, (2) Congestion consisting of a passing vehicle volume and Clocks Busy In this study there were five locations studied. The sites, three sites are the same locations in the study in 2012. The first location in Jalan Ronggowarsito, the second in the Road Col. Sunandar, third in Jalan Dr. Susanto and fourth in the western part of South Ring Road and the fifth in the Southern part of South Ring Road. The results showed that before and after the opening of the South Ring Road does not affect LOS classes in District Pati, but affect in terms of the type of vehicle. In 2012, still a lot of heavy vehicles such as trucks and buses that pass in the District of Pati, but after the opening of the South Ring Road, the vehicle weight has been greatly reduced, but it is inversely proportional to the number of small vehicles, namely for bicycles montor increased sharply. In the third location in the District of starch is to own keas average LOS E, whereas for the western part of South Ring Road the average D and the South Ring Road East section is B. It shows not optimal use Starch Ring Road.
