Summary: | The research objective is to analyze and determine: (1) Contribution of WH-Questions, Yes / No Questions and Modal Auxiliaries together on the test results Part II: Questions and Answers on the TOEIC like test grade XII students in SMK 8 Surakarta; (2) Contribution of WH-Questions on the test results Part II: Questions and Answers on the TOEIC like test grade XII students in SMK 8 Surakarta; (3) Contribution of Yes / No Questions on the test results Part II: Questions and Answers on the TOEIC like test grade XII students in SMK 8 Surakarta; (4) Contribution of Modal Auxiliaries on the test results Part II: Question and Answers in TOEIC like test grade XII students in SMK 8 Surakarta. This type of research is a quantitative research design using an experimental form that is pre-test and post-test. The sample studied were 71 students of grade XII in SMKN 8 Surakarta. Data collection techniques only use the test to analyze data through: Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, Analysis of Determination Coefficient, F test, and t test. The results showed that: (1) WH Question, Yes / No Question, and Modal Auxiliaries have positive influence on the test results Part II TOEIC grade XII student of SMK Negeri 8 Surakarta in academic year 2015/2016. Overall exercises on WH Question, Yes / No Question and Modal Auxiliaries are able to give the effect of 61.8% toward Part II TOEIC test results of students. (2) WH Questions have positive influence on the test results Part II TOEIC grade XII student of SMK Negeri 8 Surakarta in academic year 2015/2016. W-H Question contributed 15.7%. (3) Yes / No Questions have positive effect on student achievement grade XII SMK Negeri 8 Surakarta in academic year 2015/2016. Yes / No Question contributed 15.71%. (4) Modal Auxiliaries have positive effect on student achievement class XII SMK Negeri 8 Surakarta in academic year 2015/2016. Modal Auxiliaries contributed 31.0%. The higher the intensity of exercise on making inquiries with WH Question, Yes / No Question, and Modal Auxiliaries, the higher the tendency of students to achieve high test results on TOEIC Part II. |
