| Summary: | Background: Immunization is an effective and efficient strategy to increase national health status. As the reason babies did not get complete immunization based on the factor of information related to the lack of mother's knowledge about immunization. The research in Kelurahan Parupuk Tabing Kota Padang found that the percentage of complete basic immunization in mothers more knowledgeable around 87.5% compared with mothers who are less knowledgeable. Based on the previous survey showed that some posyandu in Puskesmas Bendo, there is no immunization poster affecting mother's lack of knowledge about immunization. The aim of this research is to know about the relationship between mother's knowledge about basic immunization and completeness of basic baby immunization in Puskesmas Bendo district Magetan. Methods: The design of the research is analytic observational research by employing cross sectional approach. The sample of the research were mothers who came to Posyandu with her babies around the age 9-12 month in working area of Puskesmas Bendo district Magetan by using cluster sampling technique. The amount sample were 65 respondents. The data were analyzed by using chi-square test or alternative Fisher. Result: This research conducted with Chi-square between mother's knowledge variable and completeness of basic baby immunization, with the result score p<0,001. Conclusion: There is a relasionship between mother's knowledge about basic immunization and completeness of basic baby immunization in working area of Puskesmas Bendo district Magetan. |
