| Summary: | Contraception is a tool or a method to inhibit the normal process of ovulation, fertilization or implantation. One of the factors that influence the selection of contraceptives that support of husband, the support of husband such as emotional support, information, instrumental and awards had been studied. In addition, the decision to use contraception is critical consideration of several factors such as couples, health and method of contraception. The purpose of this research is to determine the correlation between the support of husband to his wife use contraception. This research is a quantitative research with analytic survey method with cross sectional approach. Samples are 48 mothers who are living in the RW 04 Sawahan village with sampling technique is purposive sampling. The research instrument used by questionnaire for variable of husband support and decision to use contraception. Analysis of data used chi square test. Based on the results of research and discussion, the conclusions of this study were (1) Support of husband showed good category is 33.3%, enough category is 66.7%, less category is 18.8%, (2 ) Decisions to use of contraception show that respondents who choose to use Non-MKJP 54.2% and use MKJP is 45.8%, (3) the results of chi-square test is X2 = 7.807, p = 0.020, then there is relation between support of husband to wife for decision to use of contraception in RW 04 Sawahan Village, Ngemplak District of Boyolali. |
