Background: Hypertension is in top ten list of the leading causes of death in the world according to the WHO. Hypertension accompanied by diabetes mellitus increased the risk of death 2-3 times. Patients with hypertension comorbid that increases mortilitas and morbidity is dyslipidemia. And that increase diabetic is dyslipidemia. Objective: To know the difference of triglycerides levels in hypertensive patients with and without diabetes mellitus in Dr. Sayidiman Hospitals Magetan. Methods: This research use cross sectional design in dr. Sayidiman Hospitals Magetan at December 2015. Subject of the research are 18 people of hypertension patients with diabetes mellitus and 18 people of hypertension without diabetes mellitus at poli penyakit dalam in dr. Sayidiman Hospitals. Source of data obtained from medical record by purposive sampling method. Data analyze in this research use Mann Whitney Test. Results: The result obtained means of triglyecerides level in hypertension patients with diabetes mellitus are 249,83 ± 113,37 and hypertension patient without diabetes mellitus are 111,16 ± 27,64 with p value = 0,01 (p < 0,005). Conclusions: There is difference of triglycerides levels in hypertensive patients with and without diabetes mellitus.
