Summary:ABSTRACT Craftsmen blangkon Bp.Sanyoto is one of the craftsmen blangkon in Protojayan Village, District Serengan, the city of Solo in Central Java and number of employees 8 people. During this time the demand for the product blangkon quite a lot to the average blangkon with a capacity of 2500 pcs per month. The purpose of this study is to determine the amount of labor bedasarkan workload with the work load analysis methods and work force analysis and knowing the analysis of the most inexpensive and efficient than alternative employment. To find out how much labor is needed then the calculation criteria used is the cycle time, to calculate the normal time allowance, allowances for calculating the standard time and labor turn over was then calculated by the method of WLA and WFA, then in the analysis of alternative optimal workforce. Based on the results of the calculation, the average - average cycle time sec 1133.23, 1291.64 seconds of normal time and standard time analysis method 1537.89 seconds WLA obtained a work force of 13 people is an increase 7 while WFA acquired as many as 15 people based analysis optimal alternative employment, if producers want to keep finishing order from the consumer in a timely manner, the need to take some policy measures, among others: (1) Add a new workforce with the provisions of labor contract at a cost of Rp 3,450,000 / month. (2) Adding new workers with contract labor requirements within a certain time at a cost of Rp 3,450,000 / month. (3) Adding hours of overtime at a cost of Rp 4,600,000 / month. (4) Select the sub contract at a cost of Rp 3,600,000 / month Preferred Alternative is a labor contract, because business owners do not provide severance for workforce contract, at any time may terminate the contract if the demand is less.
