This study is aqualitative research - a case study. The data source of this research is the principal, teachers, staff and student employees. This research data collection using interviews, observation, documentation method, and the method of triangulation. Technique authenticity of this study uses data triangulation method. The conclusion of this study were 1) the leadership skills of school principals in SD An Nisa'Kedawung include: skills concepts, skills humane, and skills concept, 2) thestrategy of increasing the quality of schools that applied in SD An Nisa' Kedawung include: improving the quality of education in schools through increased sources human resources, improving the quality of schools in the areas of student, school quality improvement in the field of curriculum and school improvement through the development of facilities and infrastructure.
