Actually, there are many other methods that can be used for, for example, the of peer tutoring method and group work method. This research purpose is (1) describe differences in student learning outcomes in peer tutoring method of use and group work method in class fourth Elementary School of Peleman 1 Gemolong Sragen year 2015/2016. (2) describe learning outcomes better mathematics between the use of peer tutoring method with group work class fourth Elementary School of Peleman 1 Gemolong Sragen year 2015/2016. This research was an experimental research. The sample in this research are all fourth grade students of Elementary School of Peleman 1 Gemolong Sragen year 2015/2016. The data collection technique used is the technique of tests and documentation. The analysis technique used is preceded by the t test analysis is the prerequisite test normality and homogeneity test. Based on the results of data analysis with significance level of 5% was obtained t count> t table, ie 19.274>2.001 with the average value of learning outcomes mathematics class fourth A is greater than grade fourth B, ie 8.417> 7.409. The conclusion of this study are as follows: (1) There are differences in the results of fourth grade students learn mathematics Elementary School of Peleman 1 Gemolong Sragen year 2015/2016 between the use of peer tutoring method by using the group work method, (2) Peer tutoring method more good compared with group work method in improving learning outcomes of mathematics in grade fourth Elementary School of Peleman 1 Gemolong Sragen year 2015/2016.
