Summary:The background of this research is to assist teachers in implementing effective math learning. The purpose of this study were (1) to know is there any difference in the results of fourth grade students learn math SD Negeri Sine 1 Sragen using the method Numbered Head Together (NHT) and Team Assisted Individualization (TAI). (2) which is better between both methods on learning outcomes fourth grade SD Negeri Sine 1 Sragen. This research uses quantitative research. Quantitative research used is quasi-experiment. Samples from this study are all fourth grade students of SD Negeri Sine 1 Sragen. Data collection techniques used were written test and documentation. Technical analysis of the data used is preceded by the t test analysis is the prerequisite test normality and homogeneity test. Based on the results of data analysis with a significance level of 5% was obtained t count > t-table, which is 2,756 > 2,032 with the average value of mathematics learning outcomes NHT group is greater than the TAI group, namely 85.83 > 73.6. The conclusion of this study are as follows: (1) There is a difference between the results of students' mathematics learning class IV State Primary School Sine 1 Sragen using Numbered Head Together (NHT) and methods of Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) on the subject of fractions Academic Year 2015/2016. (2) Method Numbered Head Together (NHT) is better than the method of Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) in improving learning outcomes of fourth grade math student public elementary school Sine 1 Sragen on the subject of fractions Academic Year 2015/2016.
