Summary:The purpose of this study were (1) to identify the factors that cause children to be hyperactive in the fourth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 16 Surakarta Year 2015 and (2) describing the business to be done by teachers or parents to cope with hyperactive children in the fourth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Surakarta 16 Year 2015. This type of research is qualitative research dengandesain use kasus.sumber study used data is homeroom, parents, peers, and school staff are. Data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the child is hyperactive behavior. With the characteristics that have been shown by the child, namely, 1) the student is difficult to focus, 2) emotions are less controllable, 3) always make a noise when learning, 4) interfere with his friends, 5) does not respect older people. Enterprises override hyperactive children, namely, 1) do not always shouting children, 2) give praise when children do good things, 3) support what the interests of children, 4) always gives motivai to the child so that the child confident.
