Learning that takes place in the fourth grade 22 Sruni Surakarta Muhammadiyah still simple, proven by teachers given lessons in a conventional manner. Strategy used by teachers during lessons to be very simple so that students feel less interested and less than the maximum student learning outcomes. Teachers should use a variety of strategy and appropriate materials to improve student learning outcomes. In this study classroom teachers try to apply the strategy index card match and snowball throwing. This study aims to determine whether the strategy is there any difference and index card match better learning results than throwing snowball strategy in the fourth grade students of Elementary School Muhammadiyah Surakarta Sruni 22 in the academic year 2015/2016. This research is a kind of experiment. Data analysis used Hypothesis test (t test). With the results of t test analysis between variables strategy index card match with snowball throwing and variable learning outcomes in the experimental class derived from hypothesis testing partially the result of probability. t = 0.453> 0.05. Then there is no difference in learning outcomes of the implementation of the strategy index card match and snowball throwing in the fourth grade of Elementary School Muhammadiyah Surakarta Sruni 22 in the academic year 2015/2016.
