Description
Summary:Reinforced concrete beams is one part of building construction whose strength depends on the quality of concrete and steel reinforcement inside. In general reinforcement concrete beam consisting of flexural and shear reinforcement. Flexural mounted horizontally on the beam axis and serves to hold the load bending moments, shear or begel while mounted transversely to the axis of concrete beams and serves as a load-bearing shear force. Begel concrete beams using the model order is basically the same with concrete blocks using ordinary begel difference between them is the use of concrete beams begel no additional reinforcement frame skew between the vertical reinforcement structural functioning. A little creative thinking to do this research so as to provide a positive contribution to the strength of reinforced concrete beams that will be more beneficial for future research. This study modifies the form of shear reinforcement in general to be reinforcement frame fastened using wire bendrat the longitudinal reinforcement with a shape resembling a steel frame and slide further testing on reinforced beams and the results compared with the shear strength of concrete blocks using ordinary begel. This research use with strong concrete plan of 20 MPa, reinforced concrete beam specimen measuring 10 cm wide by 20 cm high and 60 cm long. Shear using a diameter of 6 mm. Tests performed, among others; concrete compressive strength test, test robust quality concrete apartment blocks, as well as the shear strength test of reinforced concrete beams. Testing shear strength of reinforced concrete beams must be ensured that the collapse occurred is not shear failure and flexural failure. The test results obtained show no increase in shear strength on concrete beams using models begel order than ordinary concrete beam using begel. Recent gains in the range (30.25 - 186,49,12)%. Based on the results obtained from this study showed that the concrete blocks using models begel order to provide positive benefits and can be developed further in order to work even harder
