Description
Summary:Concrete is a popular building material consisting of a mixture of coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, water and Portland cement concrete manufacturing as the main ingredient. The days now in the field of reinforced concrete construction with precast system becomes very attractive because keungulannya economical. With the increasing development in the infrastructure also increases the production of cement as a binding agent in the manufacture of concrete where the production process generates a lot of carbon dioxide (CO2). Experts concrete technology began to research other materials as a cement replacement materials. Geopolymer concrete is concrete with fly ash mixed-use material (fly ash), which contains silica and alumina to substitute for portland cement as a binding agent that reacts with the addition of alkaline activator liquid to produce a binding agent (binder). Alkaline activator used in this study of Na2SiO3 (sodium silicate) and NaOH (sodium hydroxide) concentration of 10M. Plus increasingly rising prices of material needs concrete maker today. Especially the needs of the increasing steel reinforcement. Experts structures have been researching possible use substitute materials of steel, one of which is the bamboo. specific advantages in bamboo that bamboo fiber has a high tensile strength. In this study testing the compressive strength and flexural strength of the test specimen in the form of cylinder with diameter of 15cm, 30cm high and reinforced concrete plate 60x60x8 with thick bamboo 0,8cm, 2cm wide and galvanized wire size Ø 1,02mm and Ø 1,63mm. With the number of cylinders 3 test specimen test specimen and the plate 12 of the test specimen. Variations activator 5: 2 for the variation of the aggregate and binder (fly ash and the activator) is 75: 25. Method of treatment of geopolymer concrete manner silenced at room temperature. Tests performed at 28 days. Results of testing the compressive strength of geopolymer concrete cylindrical specimen of 13.166 MPa. For normal concrete slab and steel bertulangan geopolymer maximum bending moment respectively 3,542 and 2,018 kN.m kN.m, the maximum bending moment and the normal concrete slab of reinforced geopolymer woven bamboo slats at 3.321 and 1.766 kN.m kN.m, moments maximum bending geopolymer concrete slab reinforced with a woven bamboo blade reinforced galvanized wire Ø 1.02 mm by 1,847 kN.m and maximum bending moment geopolymer concrete slab reinforced with a woven bamboo blade reinforced galvanized wire Ø 1.63 mm by 1,998 kN.m Keywords: Alkaline Activator, Bamboo, Geopolymer Concrete, Precast Concrete, Fly Ash, Galvanized Wire, Compressive Strength, Bending Moment Plates, Reinforced ConcretePlates.
