520 |a The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) Contributions use of textbooks on learning achievement Intermediate Financial Accounting 2, 2) Contributions interest of students to learn Mandiri to learning achievement Intermediate Financial Accounting 2, 3) Contributions include the use of textbooks and interest of students to learn independently the learning achievement Intermediate Financial Accounting 2. This study is quantitative descriptive research whose conclusions obtained based on the results of statistical analysis. This study took place in the Campus 1 Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. The population in this study were all students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta Accounting Education Force 2013 taking courses in Intermediate Financial Accounting 2 totaling 150 students with a sample of 105 students were taken by proportional random sampling technique in a random way. The necessary data and documentation obtained through a questionnaire that has previously been tested by validity and reliabiliatas. Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression t-test, F, R2 test, and the relative contribution and effective. The results using regression analysis regression equation: Y = 7.746 + 0,379X1 + 0,549X2. The research found that: 1) There is a positive and significant contribution the use of textbooks on learning achievement Intermediate Financial Accounting 2 0.379 evidenced by the regression coefficient is positive and obtained t >t table is 5.043> 1.983 and the significance value <0.05 is 0,000; 2) There is a significant positive contribution and interest of students to learn independently on learning achievement Intermediate Financial Accounting 2 0.549 evidenced by the regression coefficient is positive and obtained t >t table is 7.165> 1.983 and the significance value <0.05 is 0,000; 3) There is a significant and positive contribution of the use of textbooks and interest of students to learn independently on learning achievement Intermediate Financial Accounting 2 proven results Fhitung> Ftable is 59.288> 3.085 and the value of 0.05 is 0,000; 4) the coefficient of determination (R2) obtained 0.538 indicates that learning achievement Intermediate Financial Accounting 2 are affected by the use of textbooks and interest of students to learn independently at 53.8% comprising 20.2% use textbooks and 33.6% of interest of students to learn independently and the remaining 46.2% is influenced by other variables not examined.
