| Summary: | The purpose of this study is to determine how the settlement process of marriage annulment and know the consideration of evidence and the judge in determining the verdict on marriage annulment. This study uses normative approach and using a qualitative approach. Kind of descriptive research. Data analysis methods used by the author is a qualitative approach. In the annulment of marriage is decided kinship or nasab between them which is between the husband with the wife and annul the marriage certificate that has been issued by the relevant authorities. Cancellation of marriages taking place in court a] Religion Surakarta gave rise to a kind of legal consequences of the relationship between the husband and the wife are broken relationship between husband and wife and the return of their original status.
