520 | |a The research aimed to describe the cognitive competencies related to the achievement of students in economy class XI IPS 1 in SMA Negeri 1 Donorojo. The research is a qualitative research with ethnographic approach conducted over two months. The subjects were teachers who teach in class XI IPS 1 and class XI IPS 1 in SMA Negeri 1 Donorojo totaling 31 students. Data collection methods used were interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis technique used is data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results obtained illustrate that the economic learning process is one-way learning process centered on the teacher, so the teacher interaction with students and between students less interactive. Achievement of cognitive competence of students in economy class XI IPS 1 totaled 64%. The level of achievement of each domain is given (C1) reaches 80%, to understand (C2) reaches 67%, applying (C3) reached 65%, analyzed (C4) reached 60%, evaluating (C5) reached 39% and creates (C6) reached 35%. Inaccessibility of students in learning occurs because of the economic difficulties experienced by students in learning. Difficulties in learning among students is the lack of attention of students in the explanations of teachers, lack of motivation to learn in students and the lack of students' understanding of matter and materials. | ||
