| Summary: | Background: Infection in indonesia was one of the main cause of death to mother. Mother death rate caused post sectio caesarea (SC) infection in indonesia reached 7,3%, where as the incidence in sentral java was 3,54%. Cause of infection after childbirth was a birth injury, mastitis, thrombophlebitis, and inflammation of the pelvis. therefore the role of nurse was essential in the management to achieve the life quality of mother. Care for nursing of post sectio caesarea was a form of nursing care to prevent infection after surgery with an incision in abdomental wall. Aim: Can know and implement infection prevention to post sectio patient with nursing standards. Method: Researcher used descriptive method mrs L with interview, observation, medical record, physical examination, and documentation of jurnal and book. Result: After nursing for 3 days, the diagnosis that appears to mrs L was the risk of infection associated with post SC. Conclusion: Nursing problem that occurs to patient could still be solved in part only, so still need continuing care. |
