The purpose of this study is to describe the increasing in the ability of understanding the concept of students with the subject of class VIII F SMP Negeri 2 Gatak Sukoharjo 2015/2016 academic year through assisted learning model Discovery Learning Worksheet. This study includes classroom action research. The technique of collection data through observation, testing, field notes, and documentation. The results showed an increasing in students' understanding of the concept can be seen from: 1. The ability to restate the concept of prior tindakan4 students (14.28%) after the action increased to 17 students (60.71%) 2. The ability of students to classify objects according to the nature of prior tindakan6 students (21.42%) after the action increased to 19 students (67.85%) 3. The ability of students to give examples of the concept of prior actions 5 students (17.85%) after the action increased to 19 students (67.85% ) 4. The ability of students to apply the concepts or algorithms solving the problem of prior actions (25%) after the action increased to (75%). Based on the description above is concluded that the application of Discovery Learning model with student Worksheet can improve students understanding of the concept. | ||
