520 |a Background: Down Syndrome is the most common chromosomal abnormality number of common cause of mental retardation, characteristic fasial features hypotonic and muscle weakness, and comorbidities such as heart defect and other congenital abnormalities. Development and growth of children with Down Syndrome 2-3 times slower than normal children. In this case needed for physiotherapy intervention is Neuro Development Treatment to improve muscle strength and optimize the growth process of children with Down Syndrome. Aims : To understand how the mechanism of Down Syndrome, implementation of physiotherapy in improving the functional activity, improving muscle strength, improving tonus postural, and improving joint stability of children with Down Syndrome by providing Neuro Development Treatment. Results: After treatment for 6 times the result obtained are not any changes in muscle strength in region shoulder T1 : 4 to T6 : 4, elbow T1 : 4 to T6 : 4, wrist T1 : 4 to T6 : 4, an increase in muscle strength in the region of the hip T1 : 3 to T6 : 4, knee T1 : 3 to T6 : 4, ankle T1 : 3 to T6 : 4. DDST examination showed no change in personal social : 9 delay, adative fine-motorskills : 5 delay, language : 11 delay, gross motor skills : 9 delay. Conclusion: Neuro Development Treatment intervention can improve muscle strength and can not improve delay development.
