| Summary: | Assalam hypermarket is a shopping mall retail that provides a wide range of the household. The problem that arises is the lack of attention from employees and management in applying the safety and health. The purpose of doing this reserach is to know how far the application of heath and safety in Assalaam Hypermarket. Identify the risk of using the method of Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP). The assessment using a matrix of standards AS/NZS 4360:2004. Contol of risk using the method of Root Causes Analysis. Based on five areas in Assalaam Hypermarket found the percentage of total to low level is 41%, medium level is 48%, and high level is 11%. Application of the safety and heath in Assalaam Hypermarket,including in the medium level generated from risk assessment. The improvement by using three approaches: administrative, substitution, and engineering control. The approach of administrative in the area of shipping, floor, front, parking, and office. The approach of substitution in the area of shipping, floor, front, and parking. The approach of engineering control in the area of shipping, front, and office. |
