This research includes two objectivities, namely describe using confix per-an in the daily Kompas news opinion, and identify the function using confix per-an in the news opinion to the students. This research used descriptive qualitative method. This object of the research using confix per-an in the daily Kompas news opinion like as learning material Indonesia language. Technique to accumulation the data used book technique, gathering, and flawed. The technique of analysis data using agih method with the continous technique dressing and technique changing things. The result of this research 1) using confix per-an, has three forms type, that is per-an, pe- -an, pel- -an. Using form per-an in the noun and verb, number of quantity is 22 data. Using form pe- -an has has 2 regulations: a) used pe-an in the certain word which is noun affix prefixed ber- in the formbe- quantity of 3 data, b) function of confix per-an to find in this research is function per-an to form noun of kind to the other word it is not noun. Confix per-ancan be foundation of 2 form. That is category nominal, category verba and category adjective. Keyword: daily Kompas, confix per-an, learning Indonesian language.
