520 |a The purpose of this study is to (1) describe the planning process of teaching and learning English, (2) describe the implementation process of learning to teach English, (3) describe the evaluation process of teaching and learning English, (4) describe the enabling and inhibiting factors in teaching and learning English. This in SMK Negeri 2 Sragen. The tipy of reaserch uses a form quality reaserch and the use of ethnography reaserch design. The study site in SMK Negeri 2 Sregen. The technique of collecting data are participant observation, interviews, and documentation. Techniques of data analysis takes place in a cycle. Results of the study: (1) Planning teaching and learning of English in the form of structured learning implementation plan created by MGMP of Sragen. Before the RPP discussed with the MGMP each school has prepared a draft RPP English through internal MGMP activities. (2) The implementation is done in three activities. Initial activities include checking out for student learning, provide pre-test that is oral and is addressed to several students. (3) Evaluation of learning English teachers are prepared to develop assessment instruments, with the assessment of reading skills, speaking, listening, and writing. (4) Supporting factors include students' interests and talents, potential teachers, facilities and extracurricular programs. Limiting factor is often the students do not concentrate on learning and students do not try to reproduce the English vocabulary.
