| Summary: | The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation, barriers and solutions of value of tolerance in society different cultural backgrounds to promote unity of citizens through the movement of PKK RW 19, Semanggi, Pasar Kliwon Surakarta 2016. This type of research is qualitative. Data collection techniques used in this study is observation, interview, and documentation. This study uses triangulation triangulation of data sources and data collection techniques. Data analysis technique used is interactive analysis. The results of this study are members can accept the shortcomings of others, able and willing to cooperate with anyone who has a diversity of backgrounds, views, and beliefs, opinions or beliefs do not impose themselves on others, open to receive something new. The obstacles are the mainly Arab citizens do not deign to follow the program PKK. The solution is to invite business and provide understanding of the importance of following a meeting of the PKK. All members of the PKK are required to invite people who do not follow the order to join the PKK and is present in every meeting that is done once a month. |
