Therefore, the aim of this study is to prove empirically the effect of narima ing pandum (NIP) training on murder case inmates' depression. In this study, the group was treated some materials including opening, opening their insight, managing their attitudes, let's be grateful, patience, and narima, identifying their purpose of life. This study employed experimental method with pretest-posttest control group design. The participants involved were 12 murder case inmates (WBP) who were divided into experimental and control groups. The finding showed that the training of narima ing pandum group could reduce depression score more on the experimental group rather than the control one. The finding of this study can be utilized by the prison as an alternative solution to solve their inmates psychological problem and as a contribution on indigenous study in overcoming the effect of crime. | ||
