520 |a This study has three objectives. 1) to describe the efforts of schools to empower the School Committee in SMA N 1 Geyer Grobogan. 2) To describe his own efforts to empower school committee at the school. 3) To describe the problems in the school in empowering the School Committee 4) To describe the obstacles faced by school committees to empower themselves in school. This research type qualitative ethnographic research design. Data is collected using interviews, observation and data analysis dalah dokumentasi.Teknik interactive data analysis in three stages: 1) data eduction. 2) the presentation of data. 3) conclusion. Results of the study: 1) Efforts to school in high school committee wile N Geyer Grobogan namely by holding regular meetings with school administrators and school committees committees functioning actively in determining and implementing school programs. 2) Efforts to empower school committee itself ie between board meetings, schedule meetings between administrators programmatically, and strengthen the commitment between the board committee. 3). Constraints of the school in an attempt to hoodwink the school committee is not yet even understanding the management and members of the school committee on the status, role and functions of the School Committee and the limited time availability of school board committees. 4). Constraints faced by school committees to empower themselves in school, that is still not the maximum commitment from administrators and school committee members, and lack of communication between the school and the school committee.
