This study aimed to examine the effect of goverment spending, local revenues, and total population on economic growth years of 1994-2013 Surakarta city. Based on the result of this study can be a material consideration of the goverment, especially Surakarta municipal goverment in determining the development policy in the city of surakarta. Testing the hypotesis in this study using linear regression analysis with Ordinary Leat Square method (OLS). The data used in this research is time series data taken from the city of Surakarta as the population. Data used Product Domestic Regional Bruto (PDRB), goverment expenditure, local revenues, total population. Based on the result of this research known of the existence of test result (F-test) shows that model used simultaniously exist, which means goverment spending variables, local revenues, and total population significant effect on economic growth in the city of Surakarta. Influence the validity of testresult (t- test), it is knownthat variable of goverment spending, and total population has no significant effect on ecocomic growth in the city of Surakarta, while the local revenues have an influence on economic growth in the city of Surakarta. R2 interpretation of test result is seen that the coefficient of determination R2 = 0,950035 means that 0,950035 or 95,0035% variable ecomic growth can be explained by the independent variable in goverment spending, local revenues, and total population in the statistical models, and the balance of 4,6695% variation from Surakarta city's ecocomic growth is explained by other factors.
