Description
Summary:Background: plyometrics are exercises or repeat aimed at linking movement speed and power to produce explosive movements, with the characteristic use of strong muscle contractions and fast, the muscles are always contracted well when elongated (eccentric) or when shortened (cocentric) in quick time , so long as there is no time to work muscle relaxation. Muscle strength is the ability of a physical condition that involves the ability of a player when using muscle - the muscle that receive the load at a particular time. Muscle strength can increase muscle performance and maximum strength is the ability of a muscle to generate force in a muscular contraction and muscular endurance. Objective: To determine the effects of exercise plyometrics jump over the barrier and double leg bound to the leg muscle strength in futsal players. Method: This research used in this study is Quasi Experiment is often referred to as a quasi-experimental, which can be controlled because not all of the same researchers. Leg muscle strength measurements performed using the Vertical Jump with a high measure how participants prefix, then participants jump as high as possible to get the best results. Data analysis technique using Shapiro Wilk normality test, test the effect of using wilcoxson signed rank test, the effect of using different test Mann Whitney. Results: There was an effect of exercise plyometrics jump over the barrier and double leg bound after the test for statistically using the Wilcoxon signed rank test with the results obtained p-value pre and post test JOB is 0.005, pre-test and post test DLB is 0.003. Conclusion: There is a jump plyometrics exercises influence over the barrier and double leg bound to the leg muscle strength in futsal players.
