Background :Acne is inflammasion in folikelpilosebaseathat produces sebum. Iontophoresisis a technique which uses low electric power to increase the transport of drugs in around obstacles. Purifying is an antioxidant and has drying effect to the skin to decrease Acne. An intervention which can increase face skin acne isIontophoresis with purifying easier and it do penetration to stratum korneum through electromigration process. Purpose : To find the effect ofpurifyingserum with iontophoresis to acne. Method : This research uses experimental with approach quasi experimental (pseudo experiment) and its design is pre-post test two group design. Sampel was taken by purposive sampling technique a total of 10 respondents. The data was tested useWilcoxon testandMann-Whitney test. Result : This research use measuring instrument Global Grading Acne System (GAGS). Based on the statistic test it is be obtained a result to treatment group withvalue significance (p)=0,043 (p<0,05) while control group get value p=0,039 (p<0,05) it means that there is an effect ofpurifying serum with iontophoresis to the acne. In statistical testMann-Whitney test the result is p=0,026 (p<0,05) it means that there are differeces between treatment group to control group. Conclusion: There is an effect of purifyingserum with iontophoresis with acne and there is difference effectpurifying serum with iontophoresisto acne.
