Summary:This research aims to know the influence of tool path in making a wooden car resulted from the machinery of CNC milling router 3 axis in the wooden material on the surface roughness resulted in which unit (Ra) that gives the best result, and the influences of tool path variation on the machinery process time.This research used the wooden terial of mahogany and used the machine of CNC milling Router 3 axis with the control mach3. The machinery process was conducted with the tool path variation. The testing of surface roughness used a roughness tool (Roughness Tester Type TR200 with ISO standard).The results of the research showed the variation of tool path resulted in a different roughness level in the machinery result of CNC milling router 3 axis, the roughness level of the surface in the machinery process of CNC milling router 3 axis with the wooden material will result in a roughness level ranging from N8 up to N9. From the results of the testing, it could be known that the best average roughness score (Ra) from the tool path variation was obtained from the third specimen by using the chisel plot of offset classic with the average roughness score 4,134 µm, and for the best total average roughness (Ra) from the tool path variation, the best average roughness score was obtained in the tool path offset classic with the average roughness score as much as 4,556 µm. Based on the results of average time measurement in the process of making the wooden car using the machine of CNC router milling 3 axis used a different tool path, the fastest time was obtained in the tool path offset classic with the time of 15271 second.
