Summary:Communication technologies at an early stage using the most common transmission media used in the form of copper wire, but due to the copper wire is fixed line (not mobile) and has a narrow bandwidth was than replaced by essComonications (wireless) using radio frequency. The system wirelessly, as one of the alternative utilizes the frequency of light as the transmission medium. Wireless communication system in needed the antenna in the process of data transmission. This research discusses the design of dipole antenna by using aluminium as the receive and send signals. This design using aluminium respectively 3 pieces of large, medium, and small cable by using a impedance Rg8 50. In a study of this dipole antenna test time difference SWR and power generated. The design of these antennas are designed on the core frequency 11MHz. Based on testing results obtained results that antenna dipole made from aluminium work on frequency bands HF =11 with SWR =1.6 better than dipole antennas made from copper SWR = 1.75. At SWR 1.6 with frequency 11.400 with the power send 20W and power receive 0. Range the furthest 1.694km on canal frequency 11.400 MHz with gain 30 dB. Dipole antenna can be used for radio communication with good results in the morning, afternoon, evening, or night on when weather is sunny. Radiation pattern of an antenna receiver and transmitter radio signal communication between islands.
